<fn fn-type="other" id="FN1"><label>1</label><p>Previous lists of this series have been given at the ends of vols. 11&#x2013;18 (1897&#x2013; 1919) of this Magazine. The present list duplicates to a certain extent the information already given in Mineralogical Abstracts under the heading &#x2018;New Minerals.&#x2019; The matter is, however, here presented, for purposes of reference, as a dictionary list of new mineral-names, rather than as a list of alleged-new minerals. Unfortunately for the science, neither of these would correspond at all closely with a critical list of genuinely-new minerals.</p></fn></author-notes>
